Our Daily School-Agers' Schedule Before Care & After Care Schedule
Rising Starz Childcare Center, Inc.'s childcare staff member ratio is eighteen to one when the school-agers are five years and older, maximum group size will be eighteen.
School age children are allowed to run short errands inside the building or use the restroom alone or in groups of two's without adult supervision as long as the children are within hearing distance of a teacher. The teacher checks on them frequently until they return to the group, and the restroom is for exclusive use of the center.

| 3:00 pm- 5:30 pm | Children are beginning to arrive at the center after school. Some are only in the center for a half hour before they are picked up for the day. Others are there from one to two hours of care or are arriving for second shift care. The children are provided with an afternoon snack when they arrive at the center. The children have time to do any homework they have been assigned. One teacher helps out with second shift children's homework while the other teachers supervise the first shift children who choose to complete their homework at home and the second shift children who have finish their homework before 5:30.87 |
| 5:30 pm- 6:00 pm | Children clean up and get ready for dinner. |
| 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm | Dinner is served. After the children finish eating they wash up and have the opportunity to finish any homework they did not complete earlier. Games and art activities are available to the children during this time. Some of the children may choose to go to dramatic play area and just socialize with friends. |
| 7:30 pm -8:15 pm | Children prepare for bedtime, each child has the opportunity to wash hands and face and brush their teeth. The children may bring a change of clothes to sleep in if they choose. |
| 8:15 pm- 12:00 am | Children rest until picked up. |
Our Daily Pre-School Schedule
Rising Starz Childcare Center childcare staff member ratio is twelve children to one staff/or twenty four to two when the preschoolers are eighteen months old to three years old maximum, group size will be twenty four.
Our daily schedule is very flexible to allow for unplanned events or other opportunities that may arise throughout the day. Some days we do not fit all this in....but we try!
We have a movie day once a week on Fridays. I choose the movie! We usually watch it after snack time in the afternoon.
We do go outside everyday to play in the backyard (weather permitting).

| 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm | Dinner is served. The children have free play while teachers clean up after all the children have finished eating. |
| 7:00 pm- 7:30 pm | A variety of activities may be offered at this time; for example, a small art project, song or reading several short stories. |
| 7:30 pm -8:00 pm | Children prepare for bedtime. Each child has the opportunity to wash hands and face and brush their teeth. Teacher as needed offers assistance. |

Our Daily Infant Schedule
Rising Starz Childcare Center childcare staff member ratio is five to two when the infants are less than eighteen months old, maximum group size will be five.
Activities in the infant room include giving all of the children every opportunity to be up and about, whether it is playing with the toys, crawling, or learning to walk. The children are constantly interacting with the other children or adults.
The center will provide a variety of toys. A mobile will be provided for the smaller infants for their bed. These items will help develop their eye movement as well develop their muscle as they attempt to reach for the toys.
The center will provide toys that may be ridden, pulled, pushed, or squeezed; all of these toys help with coordination and muscle control.
Formula, baby food, and disposable diapers are to be furnished by the parent. The center will furnish table food, whole milk, and juice.
