Programs & Activities

Our Programs
The programs developed by Rising Starz Childcare promote learning and development for children 6 weeks through 12 years old. These programs emphasize a "hands-on " approach and RESPECT for each child. Children are encouraged to be actively involved in the learning process and to experience a variety of activities appropriate for their age and rate of development. Our programs foster and enhance all children's development in the following domains: emotional, cognitive, linguistic, aesthetic, physical and social.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
The Center will hold annual Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss the child's behavior, progress, social and physical needs, and any other area of developmental concern. Parents/guardians may request a conference if there is a situation that require immediate attention. Telephone conferences may be held when an in-person parent-teacher conference is not practical. All parents and or teachers with any problem or complaint may be discussed at any time by calling the Center and or speaking with the child's Teacher or the Director.

Atmosphere
Praise and positive reinforcement are effective methods of the behavior management of children. When children receive positive, non-violent, and understanding interactions from adults and others, they develop good self-concepts, problem solving abilities, and self-discipline.
