Throughout this Web site and in the center, you will hear Rising Starz Childcare Center, Inc. employees referred to as teachers, caregivers, primary caregivers, educators, team members and staff. Regardless of the word used, qualified professionals in the following positions staff Rising Starz Childcare Center Inc.
DIRECTOR: Applies principles of management and early childhood education to provide the
leadership necessary to administer the entire operation.
LEAD TEACHERS: Responsible for the care and education of a group of children. They plan and implement the curriculum, supervise other members of the teaching staff assigned to the group (Assistants and Support Caregivers), work with parents, and assess the needs of individual children for incorporation into curriculum planning
ASSISTANT TEACHERS: Share responsibility for the care and implementation of planned learning activities as a part of a teaching team for a group of children. They assist in the planning and implementation of the curriculum, working with parents, and assessing the needs of individual children. In the absence of the Lead Teacher, Assistant Teachers assume this position.
SUPPORT CAREGIVERS: Assist in the implementation of program activities under the direct supervision of the Lead and Assistant Teachers.
